The company ModernBartending consits of two pillars. On the one hand the bar academy Barschule München that offers courses and trainings for bartenders, on the other BarPerformance the section for events and catering.
Founder of ModerBartending is Matthias Knorr, further members of the team are his wife Anna Knorr, Tom Weinberger and the magician Tombeck. If needed the team can be enlarged with additional flairtenders.
Why are you coming to the Bar Convent Berlin and what do you expect from the Mixology Flair Team Awards?
We want to meet old and new friends and others from the bar business. Also we are looking forward to the competition and the presentation of our company.
What makes your team special and differentiates you from other flairteams?
The absolute unlimited passion for flairbartending, our extensive experience and last but not least Anna, one of the best female flairbartenders worlwide.
What have been your best results in flair competitions?
Anna has been the best female flairbartender in Germany for years and has placed top ten positions several times at the men competitions. Matthias has won the German championship (Havana Club Bar Giants) twice and has several top ten placements in international competitions. Tom has also several top ten placements in national and international competitions.
Which flairtender has impressed you the most recently?
Danilo Oribe and Eric Holbert (Working Flair).
Which bar shows the best flair in Germany?
The Cohibar in Munich.
