Although it was originally scheduled for February 2007 it has taken a bit longer, but now we´re finally online with our English website. It´s overdue, as we have been asked again and again to publish our content in English by our friends and colleagues in the international bar scene. Many of them have already been receiving Mixology magazine for years and while they were sure, there was a lot going on in central Europe – they weren´t really able to read and embrace it. Now let me first introduce our team:

Who are we? We´re all bartenders! We´ve all been working in the bar trade for years and do now publish the only bartender-led magazine in the GSA countries.

We have a deep passion for all things drinks and bar related. Our philosophy is to help bar culture grow and to raise the image of the bartender profession in the public eye.

Please do not hesitate to contact us, if you have questions to any of the topics we´re addressing here on our English website. Please note as well, that our mother language is German. So be kind to us, if there are any spelling or grammar mistakes.

Helmut Adam ist Herausgeber von Mixology, Magazin für Barkultur, trinkt gerne Negronis, Tequila und den einen oder anderen Gin & Tonic. Bevor er sich zum Bar Manager an der Mixology Bar aufschwang, arbeitete er als Bartender in Zürich, Wien, Berlin und London.
