The third video in the "True Originals" series has been published. It features a bartender in the style of an experimental mixologist preparing a Mojito for the mystery customer.
The agency behind the project hinted to us a couple of days ago, that the third video of the "True Originals" series was now available. We had mentioned it shortly after the launch of the series. The previous virals featured the preparation of the Bacardi classics Daiquiri and Pina Colada. The cocktail of choice in the new video is a Mojito with a twist.
In contrast to the actors of the previous videos, the guy playing the "apothecary bartender" in this video has actually been working as a bartender before, as we were
told by Liana Stricker-Wilson of Espionage: "Liam (The Apothecary) has had quite a lot of experience working behind the bar (…)." The "hand made" aspect in this video might be a bit too much for some of the viewers in the target group. The production of crushed ice with bare hands is a no-go, at least in Central European bars.
There’s also a competition going on the True Originals fan page: "We’ve also launched the Twist on a Classic competition (…). To enter people just need to join the group and submit their twist on the classic Mojito recipe. The prize is a rare first edition copy of the Savoy Cocktail Book, signed by Harry Craddock, Yarai seamless mixing glass from Japan and Japanese bar spoon." Deadline is May 28th. The fourth video that is currently produced, will feature a flair bartender.
