MIXOLOGY BAR AWARDS 2015: The Short List
Here they are, the “chosen few”. Today we’re releasing the short list of the nominees for the MIXOLOGY BAR AWARDS 2015, and slowly but surely the suspense is now building for these remaining candidates. We’re looking forward to a dazzling evening award ceremony in Berlin this coming October 6th.
The jury went through the long list we presented here a couple of weeks ago, whittling it down to a short list of favorites in a secret vote. This short list represents the absolute crème de la crème of the bar scene in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. But there are no losers here. Inclusion on the long list is a testament to the enormous quality of the field of contenders and an endorsement of their outstanding skills.
It’s up to the jury now
All the final short list candidates can do for now is wait it out until the award ceremony on October 6th, 2014. In the meantime the jury, chaired by Stefan Gabányi, will again hold a secret vote to select the prize winners. The winners will receive their coveted trophies at the ceremony during a gala dinner hosted by Berlin’s Grand Hyatt Hotel at Potsdamer Platz.
Tickets still available…for now
If you want to be a part of this prestigious event and get a close-up look at some of the German-language region’s finest bar professionals at work, get your tickets now at the Cocktailian Shop while supplies still last. If you can’t be there in person you can also kick back with a cocktail and enjoy the proceedings via live stream at THE MIXOLOGY MARKET at Station Berlin. Until then contenders and spectators alike will have to remember for another month that patience is a virtue!
